Job description

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB
Perform a wide range of accounting and administrative activities for the department and/or managers and supervisors to facilitate the efficient operation of the organization. Update and maintain information on Silver Key company databases and computer systems. Interpret data and tum it into information which can offer ways to improve business operations, thus affecting business decisions. Gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Prepare daily deposits for Silver Key Senior Services and Silver Key Foundation - process cash onsite, checks and electronic payments
  • Maintain cash control policies and aid in separation of duties
  • Record daily deposits in the general ledger system and daily bank tracking sheet
  • Process and record credit card payments and donations (ensure security of all sensitive information)
  • Post and reconcile Home Delivered Meals payments in electronic system
  • Reconcile payment between Home Delivered Meal electronic system and general ledger
  • Reconcile petty cash and request reimbursement at least monthly
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for all responsibilities
  • Prepare source data for computer entry by compiling and sorting information
  • Address requests for information and data
  • Process and resolve data errors and deficiencies
  • Extensive data entry into multiple systems
  • Prepare and modify reports
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures
  • Ensure the security and confidentiality of organizational and client data
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources
  • Filter and "clean" data by reviewing computer reports, and printouts to locate and correct problems
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • General clerical duties including scanning, photocopying, fax, and mailing

Will be occasionally required to drive on behalf of Silver Key Senior Services. Must maintain a current, valid Colorado Driver's License. Must maintain the state issued minimum automotive liability insurance coverage. Must observe and obey all federal, state, and local traffic laws. Responsible for the proper function and maintenance of any Silver Key vehicles used in performing assigned duties.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires standing, walking and sitting for periods of time. Utilization of hands and fingers to operate office computer keyboard and equipment required. Must be able to reach with hands and arms, talk, hear and stoop, kneel or crouch if needed. Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds as needed. This is a largely on-site position. Cash must be counted in person.
VISION REQUIREMENTS
Position requires close, distance and peripheral vision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Moderate noise within business office atmosphere with computers, printers and light traffic.
