YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The HSE Coordinator I is an entry level non-exempt safety position. It is a field-based position, focusing on safety oversight and compliance within construction environments. Responsibilities include conducting regular site inspections, identifying and resolving hazardous conditions, supporting incident investigations, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
  • Conduct frequent walk-through inspections of construction areas (Upwards of 80% of the Job is spent in the field doing audits and interacting with the crews).

  • Assist in identifying, documenting, and recommending resolution of hazardous/potentially hazardous conditions; Assist in identifying corrective actions and follow through to ensure corrections have been made.

  • Participate in job pre-task planning and job site safety meetings.

  • Assist with investigating personal injury and property damage accidents.

  • Assist with compiling data, photographs, etc.; prepare appropriate forms and reports per program procedures and federal, state, and local accident regulations.

  • Assist in incident response as required.

  • May assist trainings, orientations, or other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills

  • Professional interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Ability to acquire an understanding of basic job-site safety work practices and regulations.

  • Time management skills with an ability to meet deadlines

  • Work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude

  • Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player

  • Interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees within regional business unit, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and others

WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to spend 80% of working time on active construction sites.

TRAVEL:
  • Up to 25 % as needed

WORKING CONDITIONS:
  • General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.

  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.

  • We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.

  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
