Position Description
Offering up to $1,500 Sign-On Bonus for Experienced Concrete Cutters
We are pleased to invite applications from highly qualified and motivated professionals for multiple Experienced Concrete Cutter opportunities across the United States. We are proud to offer competitive compensation packages, comprehensive benefits, and a sign-on bonus of up to $1,500 for eligible candidates . This bonus is designed to support your transition, with 50% paid at the commencement of employment and the remaining 50% issued upon the successful completion of 180 days of active employment .
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of two years of relevant experience in concrete cutting and related services , including demonstrated proficiency operating equipment such as wall saws, slab saws, core drills, wire saws, hand saws, diamond cutter, other specialized concrete cutting equipment . Candidates should have experience performing precision cutting in commercial, industrial, and construction environments while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, operational excellence, and professional development .

This position is covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) with the local Laborers union. Will be required to join the union and maintain membership in good standing. Current Laborers union members welcome to apply. Pay rate is union scale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Perform concrete demolition tasks including cutting, sawing, core drilling, and removing concrete using tools such as core drills, wall saws, flat saws, hand saws, ring saws, wire saws, and compressor tools.
  • Inspect, maintain, and ensure the safe operation, cleanliness, and general maintenance of company equipment, including vehicles, diamond blades, flat saws, core drills, wall saws, jackhammers, and small tools.
  • Utilize a tablet or phone app to accurately enter and track hours and daily job notes.
  • Accurate completion of work orders and time cards.
  • Mentor and support trainees, providing guidance and instruction to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project goals.
  • Work in varying environmental conditions, including rain, cold, and heat, while maintaining productivity and adherence to safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Position Requirements
  • Valid, unrestricted driver's license with clean driving record-no citations, tickets, accidents, points, DUI, etc.
  • Commercial driver's license and valid medical card highly desired and gets you priority interview status
  • Valid OSHA 10 or OHSA 30 highly desired and gets you priority interview status
  • 2-5 years of experience working in a construction company.
  • Proficiency in the use of demolition tools such as wall saws, core drills, flat saws, hand saws, ring saws, wire saws, and compressor tools.
  • Experience with bobcats, backhoes, or related equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the use of diamond or demolition tools, including wall saws, core drills, flat saws, hand saws, and ring saws.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to mentor and support trainees, fostering a collaborative and educational work environment.

  • Teamwork and collaboration abilities to support project objectives.

Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of standing, bending, lifting, climbing, stooping, twisting, and manual labor.

  • May be required to travel to job sites or other locations as necessary.
