Associate Sales Representative – AZ Restaurant Equipment & Supplies (Houston, TX)

AZ Restaurant Equipment & Supplies is seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team in Houston. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, commission-driven environment and enjoys building strong client relationships in the restaurant and commercial kitchen industry. You will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining existing accounts, and driving revenue growth through field sales and client engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, contractors, and food service businesses
  • Prospect and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, referrals, and in-person visits
  • Conduct on-site visits to present and sell restaurant equipment and supply solutions
  • Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and product presentations to clients
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and performance goals
  • Manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate records in CRM systems
  • Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Stay updated on product inventory, pricing, and industry trends
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and local business networking opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or territory sales preferred
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working in a performance-based, commission-driven environment
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Preferred Skills:

  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued:
    • Spanish – strongly preferred
    • Chinese (Mandarin) – strongly preferred
