Technical Professionals Group provides validation, durability, mileage accumulation and quality testing services for vehicle and mechanized equipment projects and programs in the engineering, R&D, quality control and quality assurance sectors of the automotive industry.


What we are looking for:

Seeking a motivated, dependable and safe CDL A Test Driver to test prototype commercial vehicles and their systems in Wittmann, AZ. Successful candidates will test drive and evaluate pre-production test vehicles on 'real world' durability test tracks/local routes, conduct safety inspections, perform specialized test procedures and document findings on driver reports in a clear and concise manner.

Test medium-heavy duty trucks in a wide range of testing conditions including engine, transmission and durability. Experience new technology firsthand and give feedback to the development team.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES


  • Must possess a valid CDL-A license and a current Medical Examiners Certificate
  • Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.
  • Drive on designated routes for 8-10 hour shifts while performing test procedures.
  • Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests.
  • Attention to detail and able to document findings.
  • Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.
  • Maintain safety and security procedures.
  • Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.
  • Must be comfortable with driving on highways and dirt roads.
  • Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms.
  • Follow directions and execute tasks.
  • Be reliable and maintain good attendance.
  • Complete required trainings.
  • Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute in a team environment.

Schedule

  • 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 5:00am - 2:30-3:30pm
  • .2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 4:00pm 12:30-1:30am
    • Please note: Shift times/hours may vary based on testing requirements
  • Weekend availability requested as well
