Job description

Delivery Associate

Packages LLC delivers packages and smiles to people within your community every day. We are looking for motivated, customer-focused individuals who want to join our team and help us deliver those packages and smiles. As a Delivery Associate (DA) for Packages LLC, you will be on the front lines working directly with our customers and members of your community. It will be your job to exceed customer expectations and make sure all orders, large or small, are delivered on time and at the right place. We offer $22.25 an hour, paid weekly every Friday and a lucrative benefits package.

General Responsibilities
  • Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
  • Interact in a positive and a professional manner with customers and public while delivering products
  • Follow up on customer notes, requests, or problems with a solution-oriented approach
  • Use handheld technology to deliver packages, manage delivery progress, and solve obstacles
  • Sort and prepare a delivery route to meet customer promise
  • Ensure delivery vehicle is clean and in good operating condition at all times
  • Where appropriate, carry out delivery station activities including sortation and general tasks
Work Environment
  • Outdoors and subject to all weather elements
Basic Qualifications
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Possess a valid Arizona driver's license
  • Proficient in English sufficient to meet US DOT standard of ability to read road signs
  • Pass a strict and CLEAN 7-year Criminal background
  • 3-year Driving background
  • Pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Reliable transportation to/from work
  • Available to work anytime INCLUDING Weekends (we are open 7 days a week)

Job Requirements
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, and crouch during shifts up to 10 hours long
  • Ability to operate and navigate a van up to GVWR 10,000 lbs.
  • Ability to effectively operate a GPS
  • Ability to lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 50 pounds each
  • Capable of moving up and down stairs
  • Possess a valid Arizona driver's license
