Position Description
Crane Field Mechanic
Hourly pay $40 to $50, DOE!
Overtime Hours Available.
Hook & Heavy Equipment Service Co, headquartered in Independence, Mo, and looking to expand with possible work-from locations in Kansas City, Springfield, St. Louis, Wichita, Omaha, Des Moines and possibly more has opportunity for experienced crane field mechanics. Position Requirements
Requirements:
  • Able to maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems on a variety of equipment and tools.
  • Perform inspections & maintenance on various equipment.
  • Take complete charge of all safety on the job site.
  • Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service.
  • Understands and can properly fill out a job ticket for proper service documentation.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations creating a safe working environment.
  • Basic understanding of schematics and diagrams
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Must have a valid CDL driver's license.
  • Must have valid email address and phone number.
  • Must pass pre-employment screening.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Work indoors or outdoors in all types of environments.
  • Bend, kneel, walk on rough terrain, and climb in and out of equipment and work areas.
  • OSHA 10 Safety Training.
  • Travel required.
  • Work overtime when required.
