As an Office Operations Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our driving and logistics team by ensuring the smooth and timely movement of freight in a fast-paced transportation setting. JOB DETAILS:  FULL TIME, MON - FRI, NOON START TIME.  Starting at $50K based on experience, PAID WEEKLY.  MEDICAL/DENTAL/VISION/LIFE/401K AFTER 90 DAYS.  PTO AVAILABLEResponsibilities
  • Communicate effectively with  drivers and internal teams via phone, email, and in-person
  • Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve any issues or delays
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all shipments
  • Utilize PC-based systems to track, update, and manage logistics information
  • Assist with Dispatching and quotes
  • Meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Support the overall efficiency and reliability of the overall operation
Qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in trucking or logistics is preferred
  • Strong PC skills and ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Excellent communication skills across phone, email, and face-to-face interactions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Dependable, accurate, and able to meet tight deadlines
