Join OneMain Financial as a Verification Specialist!

Are you passionate about helping people and ensuring financial solutions are handled with care and integrity? At OneMain Financial, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our customers and teams nationwide by ensuring loan applications are reviewed swiftly and accurately.

What You'll Do
 

  • Review and verify consumer loan applications to make sure all customer information, documents, and requirements are accurate.
  • Ensure every loan meets company policies and regulatory standards before approval.
  • Communicate with Centralized Sales, Underwriting, and Branch teams to resolve questions and support a seamless customer experience.
  • Identify and escalate any complex or unusual situations—like discrepancies or potential fraud—to the right team members.
  • Handle important funding tasks, making sure each loan is properly fulfilled and documented.
  • Help deliver outstanding service and contribute to customer satisfaction by keeping the process efficient and reliable.

Qualifications
 

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Positive attitude and motivation to help customers and drive results.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams.

Preferred
 

  • Previous experience in loan verification, processing, fulfillment, or similar customer service/operations roles is helpful.

Location & Schedule

  • Tempe, AZ // Hybrid: 4 days in the office (Mon-Thurs), flexible arrangements available.
  • Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–7:00 PM (local time); occasional Saturdays (up to 3 per quarter).
