The Position

Americana Home Loans is seeking an experienced Loan Processor for our Las Vegas area office. The Loan Processor is responsible for reviewing, verifying, and processing residential or commercial loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with federal and Nevada lending regulations. This role acts as a liaison between borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, title companies, and lenders to facilitate timely loan approvals and closings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review loan application files for completeness and accuracy
  • Collect and verify borrower documentation, including:
    • Income and employment verification
    • Credit reports
    • Bank statements
    • Tax returns
    • Asset documentation
  • Communicate with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, escrow/title companies, and third parties
  • Order appraisals, title reports, flood certifications, and other required documents
  • Ensure loans meet investor, lender, FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional guidelines
  • Maintain compliance with:
    • Federal lending regulations
    • Nevada mortgage and banking requirements
    • Company policies and procedures
  • Submit complete loan packages to underwriting
  • Clear underwriting conditions in a timely manner
  • Monitor loan pipeline and closing deadlines
  • Prepare final loan documents for closing
  • Maintain accurate records within loan origination systems
Qualifications
