Job description

Loan Processor

OVERVIEW: The Loan Processor is responsible for providing customers a service which includes the preparation of loan documents, loan packages for banks and copies of all executed documents. The Loan Processor will also offer support in various areas within the company.

KEY TASKS:

  • Complete the entire loan process on all new and used vessels and other transactions.
  • Handle calls to and from customers, tag offices, federal offices and banks concerning related issues.
  • Maintain good working relationship with customers by providing timely processing of loan documents.
  • Utilize computer skills to compose correspondence.
  • General office duties including copying, collating and faxing.
  • Contact lending institutions for customer loan payoffs and follow-up on titles not received.
  • Maintain all customer files.
  • Provide assistance at boat shows and other off-site promotional events as necessary.
  • Files correspondence and other records.
  • Provide back-up support to other departments.
