Job description

Home Front Mortgage is growing and looking for a driven, client-focused Senior Loan Officer to join our Houston team. This is an opportunity for a motivated self-starter who thrives in a performance-based environment and wants the flexibility to directly control their earning potential. If you’re passionate about helping clients secure the right mortgage solutions while building a strong pipeline of business, this role is built for you. 

As a Loan Officer, you will be responsible for originating residential mortgage loans from initial inquiry through closing. You’ll work closely with borrowers, real estate agents, and internal processing teams to ensure a smooth and efficient lending experience. This role is best suited for someone who is proactive in generating leads, confident in client communication, and disciplined in managing a sales pipeline.

This is a hybrid compensation structure that includes a base salary plus production-based earnings.

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $30,000 to $50,000; OTE: $100,000-$200,000 based on production

Compensation:

$150,000 - $200,000 At Plan Earnings


Responsibilities:
  • Guide clients through the mortgage process, ensuring they understand each step and feel confident in their decisions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with real estate agents and other referral partners to generate consistent business leads.
  • Analyze clients' financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products that align with their needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with internal processing teams to ensure timely and accurate loan processing and closing.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the most current and relevant advice.
  • Proactively manage your sales pipeline, prioritizing tasks to meet and exceed production targets.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any post-closing inquiries or concerns.

Qualifications:
  • Active NMLS Mortgage Originator License.

  • Experience in mortgage lending, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners, fostering trust and collaboration.

  • Proven track record of analyzing financial situations to recommend suitable mortgage products.

  • Strong communication skills to guide clients through the mortgage process with clarity and confidence.
