Job description

LP Finance Group, LLC. is currently seeking qualified candidates for a Loan Processing Specialist position. This position is full-time and reports directly to the company’s Credit Underwriter.


Must have Loan Processing experience


Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain acceptable turnaround time to achieve volume targets (to be determined)
  • Complete processing/audit of loan file from finance department, verify all required underwriting documentation per loan plan policy has been collected and verified for all borrowers.
  • Verify contract has all borrowers’ signatures, email borrowers a copy of contract.
  • Verify Conditions checklist has been completed/satisfied and all tasks completed, executed by parties completing task.
  • Review documentation provided by borrowers and discussed any discrepancies or missing information with the underwriter.
  • After verification has been completed and audit is a pass, enter loan into loan servicing software to set up new loan with first payment date, deliver file to loan servicing department to be filed.
  • Follow up completed email to borrower confirming method of payment established, first payment date, payment amount, and contact information for LP Finance and Contract information for related Warranty department.
  • FUTURE USE: Scan complete file into electronic file storage within infinity for borrower.
  • General duties including assistance with customers, problem resolution, phone and written correspondence
  • All other assigned duties related to position or assigned by management


Qualifications:

Extensive PC skills include but not limited to: Salesforce, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • 1 yr. plus work experience in Loan Processing, Loan specialist, Auditing or a commensurate field.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • World class customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • Excellent organization, attention to detail, problem solving skills and time management skills
  • High energy and the ability to multitask in a fast paced, evolving environment
  • Must be responsible, Ability to meet deadlines and hold yourself and your Team Members accountable, hold a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
  • Must be a self-starter, detail oriented and can work well under pressure managing time constraints.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule during seasonal months which may include some evening and weekend hours.
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Schedule of Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with some requirement to work evening and weekend hours during peak season.
