As a Residential Loan Processor, you will assist Loan Officers/Originators in processing real estate loans, ensuring compliance with all Federal Regulations and internal policies. The Loan Processor will play a critical role in tracking and managing loan files, ensuring timely closures, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Loan Officers/Originators with the documentation required for processing real estate loans.
  • Ensure all loans comply with Federal Regulations and company loan policies.
  • Track and manage loan files in the mortgage and prestige loan pipeline, including secondary market loans.
  • Assemble loan files and complete HMDA screens using the appropriate software.
  • Order appraisals, title work, surveys, and obtain all necessary verifications.
  • Request payoffs, verify insurance, and clear any outstanding closing conditions.
  • Produce loan documentation and update borrower/loan information in the processing system as necessary.
  • Coordinate loan closings with customers, loan officers, title agencies, and the loan closing department.
  • Provide high-quality customer service and communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure proper coverage and backup for processing and timely loan closings.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in loan processing or a related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate loan processing and Federal Regulations.
