What you'll get to do:

  • Support the operational lifecycle of commercial loans through due diligence review, booking, funding, and collateral tracking.
  • Perform detailed document review and title checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Manage loan booking activities and ensure accurate reporting and coding
  • Serve as a gatekeeper for due diligence requirements prior to funding
  • Ensure loans are funded accurately and in a timely manner
  • Process funding and wire transactions with precision and adherence to timelines
  • Track and maintain collateral documentation, including titles, UCCs, and deeds
  • Process payoffs and releases in accordance with policy and established timelines
  • Identify, assign, and manage operational exceptions, ensuring timely resolution
  • Ensure operational documentation and reporting meet regulatory, audit, and internal standards
  • Maintain accurate and complete audit files and support internal and external audit requests
  • Collaborate with Commercial Services, Credit, and Commercial Lenders to resolve operational and documentation issues
  • Provide backup support to Commercial Services & Doc Prep Specialists through cross-training, as needed
  • Serve as a resource for operational processes and controls and assist in training Level I team members
  • Flexible working during Farm Bureau Bank’s hours of operation. Regular attendance required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent business or administrative experience
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial loan administration, documentation support, loan operations, or a related banking role
  • Strong operational knowledge of commercial loan processes
  • Demonstrated experience with loan documentation, booking, funding, and collateral tracking
