Position Summary
Peachtree Group is seeking an experienced Loan Operations Manager to oversee the operational management of our loan portfolio while leading a high-performing team responsible for cash management, loan servicing operations, and investor distributions. This individual will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of loan-level cash flows, leverage payments, escrow management, and reporting across the firm's debt investment platform.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of commercial real estate lending, loan servicing, ownership structures, and operational processes. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with Fund Accounting, Asset Management, Finance, and Investment teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of Peachtree Group's loan portfolio, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies.
  • Oversee the cash flow management of loans receivable, including principal, interest, escrow accounts, and related loan activity.
  • Manage and reconcile loan-level cash logs and ensure proper tracking of all cash movements.
  • Understand debt investment ownership structures and be comfortable reviewing organizational charts, ownership entities, and complex investment structures.
  • Manage the senior lender payment process for all underlying financing associated with the loan portfolio.
  • Oversee the documentation and tracking of:
    • Loan-level collections
    • Leverage payments
    • Escrow balances
    • Loan activity and related reporting
  • Manage distributions from loan-level investments to the appropriate owning entities, including joint ventures and investment funds.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of six professionals, including five offshore team members based in India and one Atlanta-based staff member.
  • Partner closely with Accounting to ensure timely reconciliations, accurate reporting, and efficient month-end and quarter-end close processes.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Loan Servicing, Accounting, Finance, Asset Management, and Investment teams.
  • Continuously evaluate operational processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
  • Assist with system enhancements and process automation initiatives as the platform continues to grow.
  • Support internal and external audit requests and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in commercial real estate loan operations, loan servicing, finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Prior management experience leading teams, including remote or offshore employees.
  • Strong understanding of commercial loan servicing, loan operations, and debt investment structures.
  • Experience managing loan cash flows, escrows, leverage facilities, and investor distributions.
  • Comfortable reviewing ownership structures, legal entities, and organizational charts.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Experience with loan servicing platforms and financial systems.
  • Experience with Yardi is highly preferred or a willingness to become proficient as Peachtree Group continues its platform implementation.
  • Experience serving as a liaison between Loan Servicing and Accounting functions is strongly preferred.

  • Commercial real estate lending or debt fund experience.
  • Experience working with structured finance, warehouse facilities, or leverage financing.
  • Knowledge of fund structures, joint ventures, and institutional investment ownership.
  • Experience improving operational workflows and implementing scalable processes.
