Now Hiring a Loading Supervisor in Minooka, IL

Salary: $47,000k - $52,000k

Shift: TBD

Reports to: Department Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt


Job Purpose: To provide supervisory support to the Loading crew and Receiving department of the warehouse.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises the associates in the Dry Department, Shipping and office clerks of the warehouse.
  • Assigns duties to employees and schedules break periods, work hours, and vacations. Schedules and performs periodic evaluations of employees as dictated by the appropriate HR policies.
  • Assist other warehouse floor supervisors and associates in warehouse policies, departmental procedures, and job duties.
  • Follow up on customer concerns/complaints, examine discrepancy reports, and resolutions to restore and promote good public relations with the client.
  • Overall responsibility for the supervision of good sanitation practices throughout the warehouse/offices.
  • Supervises the practice of seal policies placed on loads.
  • Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder
  • Work closely with staff to ensure that quality and productivity requirements are maintained and communicated to each associate.
  • Must be flexible and able to work any shift in support of business needs.
  • Overall responsibility for the supervision of good sanitation practices throughout the warehouse/offices.
  • Supervises the practice of seal policies placed on loads.
  • Promotes a positive work environment while also being a team builder.

Minimum Requirements:

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to be a self-initiator who can implement and supervise all warehouse data entry programs as directed by the Office Manager.

- High level of computer and WMS system literacy.

- Some college level training is preferred but not necessary so long as there is experience in warehouse supervision and some experience in the wholesale industry preferred.

  • Days company closed: Christmas and New Years, Thanksgiving they work or work 1/2 day
  • During their go-live period (projects) employees can work 10 hours a day
  • Vacation Time Blackout period during busy season Company has blackout dates where no one can take vacation October-February
  • The schedule usually 1st shift but must have open availability
