Job description

Chef for Hire is looking for a dependable, hardworking Loading Associate to join our warehouse team. Every day, we prepare and deliver medically tailored meals to seniors and individuals with disabilities across Indiana. As a Loading Associate, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our clients receive the correct meals on time.

What You'll Do:
  • Load delivery vehicles in the correct route order for efficient deliveries.
  • Verify each vehicle has the correct milk and required products.
  • Receive and unload incoming shipments.
  • Organize milk inventory and warehouse storage areas.
  • Inspect and organize returned delivery totes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe loading dock and warehouse.
  • Work closely with drivers, packaging, and other departments to keep daily operations running smoothly.
  • Qualifications:
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work in refrigerated environments, including temperatures as low as 7ยฐF.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Warehouse or loading experience is preferred but not required.
  • Wages, Hours, and Benefits:
  • Monday through Friday 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Starting Wage $16.00/hr
  • Paid Breaks and Lunch with one at no cost meal
  • Vacation and Sick time accumulation
  • Thanksgiving and Christmas off paid
