First and Second Shift available!
SUMMARY:
Performs responsible semiskilled work in processing orders, receiving, performing quality inspections, moving materials within the warehouse, and loading/unloading trucks; does related work as required. Work is performed under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Receives product and orders both physically and in the system
  • Performs quality inspections
  • Operates a forklift and other equipment as needed
  • Ensures trucks are unloaded properly
  • Prepare orders based on packing lists;
  • Achieves and maintains acceptable minimum standards of activity;
  • Verifies color and records grade, shade, and quantity selected for shipment;
  • Palletizes cartons according to shipping orders;
  • Moves production materials into warehouse;
  • Moves pallets of material within warehouse and trucks;
  • Ensures trucks are loaded properly according to the shipping order;
  • Assist order processors with selection and palletizing materials;
  • Maintains order and condition of all material stored in warehouse;
  • Identifies and processes return materials;
  • Inspects assigned equipment on a daily basis;
  • Performs general housekeeping duties;
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Forklift experience required
  • Ability to work in high areas
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
