Ben's Structural Fabrication is seeking a Loader/Painter to join our production team in Waite Park, Minnesota. This unique position combines industrial painting with trailer loading, making it an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and staying active throughout the day.

As a Loader/Painter, you'll help ensure our fabricated steel is professionally finished, safely loaded, and delivered to our customers with the quality and care we're known for. Your work directly impacts the success of every project that leaves our facility.

What You'll Do

As a Loader/Painter, you'll play an essential role in preparing fabricated steel for delivery by:

  1. Loading and unloading the paint booth to maintain efficient production flow.
  2. Safely loading structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and hardware onto trailers for delivery.
  3. Operating overhead cranes and rigging equipment to move large fabricated steel components.
  4. Reading packing slips and verifying all materials are complete before shipment.
  5. Inspecting completed work to ensure components are fully painted, properly labeled, and ready for delivery.
  6. Applying industrial coatings to structural steel in accordance with customer specifications and quality standards.
  7. Preserving identification markings throughout the painting process.
  8. Monitoring paint inventory and requesting materials as needed.
  9. Performing routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on the paint booth, spray equipment, and work area.
  10. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  11. Assisting wherever needed to support production and keep projects moving.
Schedule

Monday–Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:15 PM

Friday Overtime (as needed): 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Transparency

The anticipated pay range for this position is $20.00–$25.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role. Eligible employees also have access to Ben's comprehensive benefits package.
