Loader Operator

Kemps in Minneapolis has an opening for a Loader Operator in our cooler. This role will operate equipment according to established procedures, manufacture products, and assist in other department areas as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load all assembled store orders on truck and trailers following appropriate load diagrams or instructions including but not limited to floor loads, pallet loads, bossies, and home delivery trucks.
  • Replenish picking inventory as needed
  • Operate machinery such as: palletizer, bander, forklift or pallet jack
  • Rotate products to facilitate proper code rotation
  • Record information on required forms as needed
  • Report any food safety and food quality related issues to management immediately
  • Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
  • Follow all DFA good manufacturing practices (GMP) and work in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Warehouse, production, or general work experience preferred

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
