Job description

Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Load, seal and complete all paperwork on all outbound trailers of finished product.
  • Load, seal and complete all paperwork on all inbound and outbound railcars.
  • Load and complete all paperwork on all Midds trailers.
  • Load to maximum, but not to exceed legal net weights on all tractor and trailer combinations.
  • Assist the shift miller as needed.
  • Complete assigned cleaning and maintenance activities. Clean mezzanine at least weekly and complete all associated paperwork.
  • Assist in the packing operation when necessary.
  • Perform the above tasks without damage to company property.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping schedule.
  • Responsible to proactively offer facility and system improvements.
  • Responsible to observe and report any unusual activity regarding site security.
  • Responsible to check diesel fuel in track mobile and yard tractor after every shift.

Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to work all shifts and weekends when required
  • Physically able to perform all milling requirements including but not limited to:
    • Ability to walk stairs and climb up and down bulk trailers during the course of a nine hour shift
    • General cleaning
    • General mill maintenance and repair
    • Ability to pack up to 50 lb. sacks

Physical Demands
Physically able to perform all requirements including but not limited to:
  • Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physically able to walk stairs and climb up/down bulk trailers during an eight-hour shift.
  • Ability to perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
