Job description

Alamo Concrete Products Company, ACP, is headquartered in San Antonio, TX with 8 Divisions throughout the Greater Central/South Texas Region. ACP produces and delivers concrete and operates Aggregate Quarries that supply concrete, aggregate (rock) and sand to the batch plants.

We are hiring a Loader Operator In Austin, Texas. Loader Operator is responsible for operating a front-end loader to transport, load, and stockpile materials safely and efficiently. This role ensures the proper handling and management of materials, contributing to plant efficiency and productivity.

Duties include, but are not limited, to the following:

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedure.
  • Conduct pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
  • Promptly report incidents, equipment malfunctions, or safety concerns to the supervisor .
  • Performing general labor duties when necessary.
  • Operate a front-end loader to load materials into trucks, hoppers, and stockpiles.
  • Follow all PPE protocols, including proper use, care, and timely replacement.
  • Transport raw materials to designated areas for processing or stockpiling.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of equipment.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Valid Texas driver’s license and be able to pass an MVR verification.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a drug screen and physical examination.
  • Ability to travel to various Ready-Mix plants as needed.
  • Must be available to work overtime as required, including nights and weekends.
