Job description
Loader Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, is looking for a loader. This position will be responsible for safety loading parts onto a moving production line. This position will be 3rd shift, Monday - Thursday 5:00pm to 3:30am.
What you will be doing:
- Checks for incoming materials so production is not stalled.
- Ensures work area is clean and performs necessary housekeeping.
- Must be able to recognize parts that do not meet specifications.
- Able to stand at work station for a long period of time.
- Must be able to reject bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
The skills and experience you need:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 6 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and react to changing priorities.
- Must have strong verbal communication skills.
- Have basic math skills.
- Needs to have flexibility with production hours.
- Ability to comprehend and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
- Sustain repetitive motions using arms and hands.
- Able to maintain a safe working environment that is conducive to productivity.
- Ability to think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
- Able to work side by side with other production operators.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of all materials.
- Good understanding of quality control.
