Job Summary

The Loader is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations by loading delivery trucks, handling inventory, repackaging products, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. This role ensures products are loaded accurately, inventory is properly rotated, and warehouse standards are maintained to support efficient distribution operations while following established safety procedures.

Job Responsibilities

  • Load delivery trucks accurately according to assigned orders and established warehouse procedures.
  • Verify that products are loaded correctly based on delivery requirements.
  • Rotate inventory using First In, First Out (FIFO) practices and monitor product expiration dates.
  • Repackage products in accordance with established warehouse procedures.
  • Dispose of damaged or out-of-code products following approved procedures.
  • Assist with inventory handling and warehouse organization.
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness by removing trash, sweeping floors, and operating floor-cleaning equipment as needed.
  • Follow all company safety policies and warehouse operating procedures.
  • Support additional warehouse and distribution activities as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Previous warehouse, loading, material handling, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Ability to accurately load, organize, and handle inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work safely around moving mechanical equipment and in varying environmental conditions.
