Position Summary:
This position is essential in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall smooth operation of the spa. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the AAA Four Diamond customer service standards and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

In this Role:
  • Assist spa therapists by preparing treatment rooms with necessary supplies and ensuring rooms are clean and ready for the next guest.
  • Restock towels, linens, and spa products in treatment rooms, locker rooms, and relaxation areas.
  • Ensure all spa areas are tidy, organized, and well-maintained throughout the day.
  • Replenish beverage stations with water, tea, and snacks for guests.
  • Greet and assist guests with their belongings upon arrival and departure from the spa.
  • Escort guests to their designated areas, such as treatment rooms, locker rooms, and relaxation lounges.
  • Provide valet parking assistance if required.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and needs promptly and courteously.
  • Assist guests with information on spa services and amenities.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by creating a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
  • Perform regular checks to ensure cleanliness and orderliness of all spa areas, including locker rooms, showers, and relaxation lounges.
  • Promptly greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, and following the established sequence of service.
  • Delivering food and beverage orders to guests.
  • Understanding all methods of check tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit card, points, gift certificates, etc.).
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Spa Manager immediately.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines to maintain a clean and sanitary environment.
  • Work closely with spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and other attendants, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist with the setup and breakdown of special events and group bookings.
  • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on spa policies and procedures.
  • Monitor inventory levels of spa supplies and linens, and notify management when reordering is necessary.
  • Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries of spa products and supplies.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Must be 16+ years of age.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a spa or hotel environment is preferred.
  • Must hold/maintain certification with Alcohol Awareness (TIPS). If not already certified, training will be provided.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to multitask.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with the ability to handle guest opportunities promptly and courteously.
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment.
  • Must have the ability to access all properties and areas.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (60 lbs), stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Work Conditions:
Work is typically in all areas of the Spa and at times anywhere in the Hotel. Work areas may be warm, cold, humid, or bright and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
