Load Out Operator

Job Summary

The Load Out Operator uses heavy equipment for loading outbound trucks with finished product and is responsible for ensuring a steady flow of material for processing.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Operates yard and plant equipment to load materials. Maintains raw material mixture at proper moisture content.
  • Maintains contact with operator to ensure most efficient drying rate.
  • Performs daily maintenance on loader before each shift.
  • Washes plant equipment, vehicles, and processing areas as necessary using high pressure power washer.
  • Performs general cleaning as needed in work areas.
  • Keeps area clean; raw materials piled out of driving area.
  • Maintains safety as top priority in accordance with all company safety rules and regulations.
  • Reviews and evaluates qualitative data reports to verify that product meets Company specifications.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in loader operations within a production environment.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a rendering operation preferred.
  • Basic math skills; ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers.
  • Good oral and written skills; able to follow oral and written directions.
  • Ability to review & comprehend qualitative data reports to verify product meets specifications.
  • Ability to deal with minor problems involving equipment or various situations.
