Summary

We are seeking an experienced Specialist, Procurement to join us within the Procurement function in Houston, TX. This person is responsible and accountable for the procurement of third-party goods and services for Calcasieu Pass LNG Operations.

General Description Duties & Responsibilities

  • Independently conducts RFx and bidding processes, specifically for spare parts, minimizing risk and maximizing value in terms of quality, delivery and cost.
  • Execute sourcing plans that secure supply and minimize disruptions.
  • Utilize sourcing best practices to efficiently and effectively lead initiatives.
  • Performs contract administration, which includes creating and modifying purchase order and contract documents; adjusting, cancelling and/or closing transactions in SAP and Coupa.
  • Assist stakeholders in scope of work development.
  • Effectively communicates with and maintains relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Challenges stakeholders when inefficiencies, process deviations, and strategy deviations are identified.
  • Monitors supplier and contract activity and identifies areas for improved cost savings.

Qualifications

Required experience

  • Minimum of five years supply chain experience in the oil and gas industry; Experience in LNG liquefaction facilities highly preferred.
  • Extensive experience using SAP.
  • Self-starter with ability to work strategically under little direction.
  • Ability to build relationships and in engage with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance practices and operations processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other teammates and other functions.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline.
