Job Description
Position Summary:
The Treasury Analyst supports the day-to-day operations of the Treasury function, including cash management, banking operations, liquidity forecasting, and debt administration. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to build foundational treasury skills within a growing, PE-backed energy platform with upstream, midstream, and LNG operations. The role offers direct exposure to senior Treasury leadership and cross-functional visibility across Accounting, FP&A, and Legal.
Key Accountabilities:
Cash Management & Liquidity
  • Prepare and maintain daily cash position reports across all operating accounts.
  • Support short-term cash forecasting (13-week rolling forecast).
  • Monitor bank account balances and initiate wire transfers, ACH, and intercompany fund transfers as needed.
  • Reconcile daily cash activity and investigate variances.
  • Work directly with the accounting team to provide the support needed for entries
  • Ensure all month-end close items are delivered to stakeholders in a timely manner.

Banking Operations
  • Responsible for banking administrative tasks: signer updates and tracking, account opening/closing documentation, KYC documentation requests, etc.
  • Support implementation of treasury management system (TMS).
  • Manage all company check deposits and the positive pay process.
  • Prepare all debt related paperwork required by the bank.
  • Assist with bank fee analysis and account rationalization reviews.

Debt Support
  • Assist in preparation of materials for company reporting on debt balances, interest rates, utilization and other debt metrics as required.
  • Track interest accruals, drawdowns, and repayments on revolving credit facilities and term debt.

Risk & Controls
  • Support execution of treasury-related internal controls including segregation of duties on payment initiation/approval.
  • Assist with counterparty and bank credit risk monitoring.

Reporting & Special Projects
  • Prepare recurring management reports on cash position, liquidity, and debt.
  • Support ad hoc analysis for M&A integration, financing transactions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with treasury policy documentation and procedure updates.
  • Support vendor credit application processing when required.

Qualifications:
Education, Certificates, and Licenses:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

Experience:
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (internships in treasury, banking, corporate finance, or accounting are a plus).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong Excel skills; comfort working with large data sets and building basic financial models.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills; treasury work is deadline-driven and error-intolerant by nature.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial and banking information with discretion.

Preferred:
  • Exposure to treasury management systems (e.g., Kyriba, GTreasury) and/or ERP platforms (e.g., SAP).
  • Familiarity with basic corporate finance concepts: working capital, liquidity, debt instruments.
  • Prior internship or coursework in the energy industry.
