The Social Trauma Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team on a full-time basis. This position is fully remote, allowing for flexibility and balance within your professional and personal life. However, you will also have the option to work from our outpatient office in Aurora, which provides a welcoming space for in-person sessions if preferred. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health complexities, using recognized tools and methodologies.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that align with therapeutic objectives set in collaboration with clients.
• Engage in one-on-one therapy sessions, employing various therapeutic modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Conduct group therapy sessions to facilitate peer support and community healing.
• Maintain precise and detailed documentation in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Regularly participate in staff meetings and supervision sessions to enhance collaborative treatment approaches and seek guidance from clinical supervisors.
• Offer virtual therapy sessions to accommodate clients with mobility issues or those preferring teletherapy options, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care.
• Stay current with emerging trends and best practices through ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

As an LMFT at our center, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including individuals, couples, and families. Our population frequently consists of those who are facing trauma recovery, mental health disorders, anxiety, and challenges related to addiction. We value clinicians who are culturally competent and are particularly interested in applicants who possess experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds, including clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community.

• Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and current state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time clinical experience in a counseling setting.
• Experience working with couples, children, teens, and families.

• Familiarity and competency in various therapeutic modalities such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-focused therapy.
• Previous work experience in community mental health or private practice settings.
• Experience providing services to marginalized populations, including clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community.

This full-time LMFT position offers a competitive annual salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus.
