Job description

We're Hiring: Superintendent - Construction
The Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and managing daily construction site operations to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role includes supervising on-site personnel, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols, project plans, and company standards. The Superintendent serves as the key point of contact on the job site and ensures seamless communication between field teams and project managers.
What you'll do:
  • Supervise all on-site activities, including the work of subcontractors and trades, to ensure adherence to project schedules and plans.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and implement solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Enforce safety protocols, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards at all times.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to ensure work quality and adherence to project specifications.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager to review plans, schedules, and materials to avoid delays or conflicts.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate site documentation, including daily reports, logs, and updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontractors and on-site personnel, resolving conflicts or issues as they arise.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and materials on-site.
  • Communicate with project stakeholders and report regularly on site status, progress, and challenges.
  • Manage site logistics, including scheduling deliveries, materials handling, and equipment allocation

Requirements
What we're looking for:
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent or in a similar leadership role in construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and building codes.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to direct and motivate on-site teams.
  • Proficiency in construction management tools and software, such as Procore or Builder trend.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to address on-site challenges and maintain project timelines.
  • Field experience in trades or construction management is required; a bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.

If you've got the expertise to keep projects on track and the leadership skills to guide crews safely and efficiently, we'd love to hear from you.
