An LLC, or Limited Liability Company, is a type of business structure that combines the limited liability protections of a corporation with the flexibility and tax benefits of a partnership. Owners of an LLC are called members, and they are generally not personally liable for the company's debts or liabilities. LLCs are popular among small business owners because they offer simplicity in management and less strict compliance requirements compared to corporations.
