Job description

Position Details
Location: Flagstaff, Arizona
Coverage: 23,000 square miles across Northern Arizona
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
On-Call: Available for pediatric and critical equipment discharges
Commute: Within 25 miles of location preferred
Travel: Up to 3 hours one-way possible; elevation and weather considerations
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive in-home patient assessments
  • Provide clinical education on respiratory equipment
  • Adjust ventilator settings based on patient needs and physician orders
  • Monitor and troubleshoot advanced respiratory equipment
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Provide ongoing patient phone support and follow-up care
  • Participate in on-call rotations for pediatric and critical discharges
  • Support training of new clinical staff
  • Manage pediatric respiratory services
Compensation & Benefits
Compensation:
  • $30-$38/hour depending on experience
  • Mileage reimbursement for extensive territory coverage
  • Sign-On Bonus:
    • $2,000 after 60 days

Qualifications
Required:
  • Active RRT or RN licensure in Arizona
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift patient equipment (65 lbs minimum)
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Comfortable with email communication and office equipment
Preferred:
  • Completion of accredited respiratory care or nursing program
  • Degree in respiratory therapy or related science
  • At least one year of relevant clinical experience
  • Hospital and DME background
  • Pediatric respiratory services experience
  • Home healthcare experience
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Ability to lift and transport patient equipment (minimum 65 lbs)
  • Regular contact with patients and equipment may involve exposure to contagious pathogens
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, and listen for extended periods
  • Requires close vision for reading small print on screens and paperwork
  • Must comply with Respiratory Protection & N95 Mask Fit Testing Policy:
    • Medical evaluation and fit testing
    • Annual recertification
    • Maintaining a clean-shaven face for proper mask seal per OSHA guidelines
  • Extensive driving throughout large service area
  • Navigation of high-altitude terrain and variable weather conditions
