Job Purpose

  • To provide fast, friendly, and accurate checkout service to customers while maintaining a clean and organized workplace. The role aims to create a positive shopping experience by delivering excellent customer service and supporting store operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and acknowledge each customer as they enter the store.

  • Be available to assist customers and provide excellent customer service.

  • Perform cashiering responsibilities by ringing up customers with friendliness and efficiency.

  • Ensure the cleanliness and sanitation of all front-end areas.

  • Promote the Good Earth Markets Loyalty program to customers at each register transaction.

  • Gain product knowledge to effectively assist customers.

  • Stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive lifting/bending as needed.

  • Utilize basic math skills for providing change and some inventory management.

  • Perform light janitorial and other duties daily.

  • We are an E-Verify employer.

Required Experience/Skills & Abilities

  • Ability to promote and explain the Good Earth Markets Loyalty program to customers.

  • Proficiency in gaining product knowledge to effectively assist customers.

  • Capability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive lifting and bending.
