Position Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our clinical team. This role is integral to delivering high-quality, resident-centered care through direct support with daily living activities. The CNA will work closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive care that promotes dignity, comfort, and overall well-being.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Measure, record, and report vital signs-including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respirations-while promptly communicating any changes to licensed nursing personnel
• Assist residents with mobility needs, including transfers, ambulation, and repositioning, in accordance with individualized care plans
• Provide hands-on assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and nutritional support
• Respond to call lights and resident needs in a timely, respectful, and professional manner
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly environment in compliance with infection control and safety standards
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to the supervising nurse without delay
• Foster respectful and effective communication with residents, families, and members of the care team
• Comply with all organizational policies, as well as state and federal regulatory requirements and infection prevention protocols
Qualifications
• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Kansas, in good standing with the Nurse Aide Registry
• Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-based clinical environment
• Strong critical thinking skills and adaptability in a dynamic care setting
