Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Live-In Caregiver to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their safety and comfort. The ideal candidate will have experience in caregiving, particularly with seniors and individuals with disabilities, and possess strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Provide patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications as per care plans.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning to meet dietary needs.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
  • Offer companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
  • Observe and report changes in client conditions or behaviors to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Support clients with memory care, including those with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
  • Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while maintaining client confidentiality.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
