We’re looking for a Photojournalist/Editor at KWQC who is passionate about the Quad Cities and ready to own the story, whether it’s capturing a massive breaking news event, running a flawless live shot, or getting content to our digital team before the competition even arrives. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Own the lens: Capture compelling, high-quality visuals and sound that bring stories to life for our audience in the Quad Cities.
* Drive breaking news: Respond with urgency to developing stories, getting on the scene quickly and safely to provide real-time coverage.
* Master the live shot: Set up and execute live shots for broadcast and digital streaming, ensuring our viewers are right there with us as news happens.
* Edit with impact: Use non-linear editing tools to craft tight, engaging stories for our newscasts and digital platforms under tight deadlines.
* Feed the digital beast: Work closely with our digital team to get video, photos, and updates out to our apps and social media channels instantly.
* Collaborate like a pro: Partner with reporters and producers to ensure every story is visually strong and editorially sound.
* Maintain the gear: Take pride in your equipment, ensuring cameras, vehicles, and editing systems are always mission-ready.
