We are looking for a Streaming/Transmissions Operator (Overnights) to join our Global Streaming Operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to ensure Bloomberg's digital, OTT, and broadcast experiences are seamless, reliable, and of the highest quality. What We're Looking For:
  • Experience in live streaming and broadcast operations, especially within a high-pressure 24/7 media, news, or OTT environment.
  • Technical proficiency with streaming and broadcast systems, including IP-based workflows and distribution platforms.
  • Knowledge of streaming technologies such as HLS, RTMP, SRT, and cloud-based video delivery systems.
  • Familiarity with signal routing, encoding, and transcoding workflows.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve streaming or signal issues quickly under pressure.
  • Ability to work closely with technical, editorial, and production teams to ensure consistent quality and uptime.
  • High attention to detail when monitoring signal integrity and metadata.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee live and on-demand streaming operations across Bloomberg's digital and OTT platforms.
  • Manage live broadcast operations, ensuring smooth delivery and optimal quality for global audiences.
  • Set up, monitor, and troubleshoot inbound and outbound IP streams, fiber, satellite, and other broadcast feeds.
  • Maintain signal integrity across multiple formats and distribution endpoints (e.g., Bloomberg Terminal, web streams).
  • Collaborate with Master Control, Engineering, Digital, and Editorial teams to ensure live and scheduled content is correctly encoded, routed, and published in sync with broadcast logs.
  • Ensure commercial, playback, and live content are transmitted consistently with no disruptions.
  • Use cloud-based, IP, Live-U, and fiber technologies to enhance reliability, scalability, and performance.
  • Leverage advanced broadcast and streaming systems to improve workflows and deliver the highest quality streaming and broadcast experiences.

Salary Range = 70,000 - 85,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus
The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
