Job description

Refreshed Tech is a fast-growing ITAD company that buys, refurbishes, and resells devices. Our Live Sales channel—where we go live on Whatnot and TikTok auctions—is our fastest-growing revenue stream, and we’re looking for a sharp, energetic operator to run the show behind the show.

The Live Sales Program Manager is the engine room of our live auction business. While our on-camera sales talent goes live and sells, you make sure everything they need is ready, staged, and dialed in. You own the operational backbone: the show calendar, the inventory pipeline, the setup, and the post-sale customer experience. When a stream goes live, your work is what makes it look effortless.
This is a high-tempo, hands-on role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, loves technology, and uses AI tools daily to work smarter and faster.

Essential Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:
Show Planning amp; Programming
● Build and maintain the live show calendar across Whatnot, TikTok, and other platforms.
● Decide which products to feature on which shows based on inventory levels, margin targets, audience demand, and seasonality.
● Develop themed shows, promotional events, and product drops that drive engagement and sales.

Inventory amp; Show Prep
● Pull, stage, and organize inventory for every scheduled show.
● Coordinate with the refurbishment team to ensure devices are tested, graded, and ready in time.
● Build out product lineups, pricing strategies, and starting bids.
● Set up the studio, listings, descriptions, and any platform-side configuration so sellers can go live and focus on selling.
Live Show Operations
● Be on standby during live shows to troubleshoot, restock, or pivot in real time.
● Track performance metrics during and after shows (sell-through rate, AOV, viewer engagement, conversion).
● Continuously refine show formats based on what’s working.
Customer Service amp; Post-Sale
● Manage customer service for live sales: questions, issues, returns, warranty claims, and platform disputes.
● Resolve issues quickly and professionally to protect ratings and reputation on Whatnot and TikTok.
● Coordinate returns and exchanges with the refurb and shipping teams.
Process amp; Growth
● Build playbooks, SOPs, and systems as the program scales.
● Use AI tools to streamline listing creation, customer responses, content prep, and reporting.
● Identify opportunities to grow the channel—new platforms, new show types, new audiences.
Competencies/Skills/Abilities:
● High energy and fast-paced. Live sales is a sprint, not a stroll. You move quickly without dropping balls.
● Flexible. Show schedules can include evenings and weekends. Things change on the fly. You roll with it.
● Tech-fluent. You’re comfortable with refurbished electronics—phones, laptops, tablets, accessories—and can speak credibly about specs, conditions, and value.
● AI-native. You actively use ChatGPT, Claude, or similar tools to draft listings, automate workflows, summarize data, and move faster. If you’re not already using AI in your daily work, this role isn’t the right fit.
● Operationally sharp. You think in checklists, calendars, and systems. You can juggle inventory, schedules, and people without losing the thread.
● Customer-obsessed. You care about the buyer experience and handle issues with calm, clear communication.
● Self-directed. You don’t wait to be told what to do. You see what needs to happen and make it happen.
Required Education and Experience:
● College degree or commensurate work experience
● Experience selling or operating on Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay Live, or similar live commerce platforms.
● Background in ITAD, electronics resale, refurbished tech, or e-commerce operations.
● Familiarity with inventory management systems and listing tools.
● Content or production experience (lighting, audio, camera setup).
