Description
Sunset Rentals is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Operations Manager to coordinate the day-to-day execution of property operations across our portfolio on Hilton Head Island. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes initiative, stays organized under pressure, and ensures every property is fully prepared to meet guest and owner expectations.
In this role, you will act as the central point of coordination for inspectors, maintenance personnel, cleaning companies, regimes, and vendors-ensuring work is completed efficiently, accurately, and on time. You will regularly assess property conditions and clearly communicate functional, mechanical, and aesthetic needs to homeowners while helping resolve guest and owner concerns quickly and professionally.
The ideal candidate is proactive, resourceful, and solutions-driven, with a strong ability to juggle multiple priorities, communicate effectively, and keep operations running smoothly in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements
  • Must live within 30-45 minutes commute time to Hilton Head Island
  • Ability to work on-site; this is not a remote position
  • Must live within 30 minutes commute of Hilton Head Island
  • Availability to work Saturdays as part of the regular schedule
  • Availability to work rotating Sundays as part of the regular schedule
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call rotation weekly, including weekend days
  • Willingness to work during peak holiday periods, including Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and New Year's Day
  • Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize in fast-paced, guest and owner facing environments
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and guest-focused approach

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, or property management is a plus, but not required
  • Demonstrates a high level of patience and professionalism when working with guests in a variety of situations
  • Naturally curious and eager to learn, with a proactive approach to understanding properties, systems, and the local area
  • Comfortable adapting to new tools, processes, and a fast-paced service environment.

Schedule
  • Varies based on occupancy
  • 40 - 45 hour work week
  • 2 scheduled days off each week
