We've supported some of the world's most watched productions and live events in sports, entertainment, concerts, festivals, film, TV and more. For over 35 years our clients have trusted us to deliver live production, live events, and virtual production solutions for them, anytime, anywhere.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve timesheets, time-off requests, and shift swaps; track attendance and punctuality.
  • Develop, document, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for signal acquisition, quality control, routing, monitoring, and escalation.
  • Train and onboard new operators, and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations.
  • Lead shift handovers and communicate operational priorities, schedule changes, and client requirements to the team.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for technical and operational issues during assigned shifts.
  • Work in a support and supervisory role for NEP MCR/NOC Operators during all scheduled pre, live, and post events.
  • Support hiring by screening candidates and participating in interviews as needed.
  • Foster a positive, accountable team culture and a willingness to embrace and nurture change.

Technical / Operational
  • Acquire, route, and monitor inbound and outbound transmission feeds alongside the operator team.
  • Perform quality control on productions and ensure transmissions meet broadcast standards.
  • Accurately document and promptly recover from any on-air discrepancies and document outcome for management and client review to include corrective actions.
  • Ability to read scopes and have a solid understanding of broadcast and transmission signals
  • Troubleshoot any technical problems as they arise and coordinate resolution with engineering.
  • Prepare, maintain, and review internal reports and operational logs.
  • Maintain working knowledge of all essential equipment and ensure the team does the same.
  • Work closely with supporting departments such as traffic, engineering, ingest, and production.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:
  • Prior supervisory or lead experience (2-4 years' experience AND 4-year degree or additional experience) in a broadcast, MCR, and/or NOC environment.
  • Ability to professionally react to and make sound decisions under pressure during high-priority requirements with little or no notice.
