Job description

As a Roving Store Worker at the Exchange, it is a dynamic, multi-faceted role where you will support both the retail and quick-service food sections of our facility. In this fast-paced position, you will create a welcoming shopping environment by greeting guests, operating checkout registers, and promoting store programs like the Military Star card. You will also keep the facility running smoothly by prepping simple food items, restocking shelves, managing inventory records, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

So, what can you expect as a Roving store worker Associate at the Exchange?
Operates ovens, roller grills, or similar kitchen equipment in environments where set procedures are followed and no cooking skills are required.
Heats, assembles, or otherwise prepares food items to support heat and eat and quick service restaurants (QSR). Ensures all condiments or complimentary foods are available during service times. May include stocking of grab-and-go or quick heat items. Maintains required sanitation and cleanliness of food preparation and service areas as well as all equipment utilized.
Stocks food, beverage, or retail supplies prior to service periods and replenishes items throughout the shift. Assists in maintaining accurate and up to date retail shelf labels.
Operates a cash register or other point of sale equipment; rings sales, makes changes, and processes cash, credit card, and check transactions. May enter new accounts, process refunds, and perform other transactional functions as directed.
Provides a high level of customer satisfaction, Builds trust and creates a welcoming environment to support a personalized customer experience. Resolves customer issues at the lowest possible level
