The Department of State Hospitals โ€“ Napa, Department of Medicine, and Ancillary Services is accepting applications for a full-time position to the Registered Nurse (Safety) classification. Experience is preferred but not required. The RN in this department works in a variety of clinic and non-clinic settings in our department. Site specific duties include assessing employees for work related injuries and provide basic first aid, responsible for vaccination of employees, assist the Nurse Practitioner/Physician with pre-employment physicals and annual health screenings. Assists medical consultants and clinic providers during the clinic appointments, schedules and prepares consults and all necessary documents for clinic appointments, perform Physical abilities testing to pre-employment candidates, perform Fibro scan imaging on patients, functions as a Recovery nurse for ECT on a rotational basis.
