Job description

Responsible for the supervision and direction of direct field personnel. Assures that all work is completed safely, per the scope of work, on time and within budget. Applies to individuals responsible for the supervision of direct field personnel. A foreperson will have the following skills:
  • Capable of supervising from eight to fifteen workers
  • Assures all work is completed safely, per the scope, on time, and within budget
  • Has experience in field take-off, material requisitions, material logistics, and effective pre-job planning
  • Usually possesses a minimum of five (5) years experience in his/her related field and in the supervision craft personnel
  • Acts as the front line contact for safety, quality, QA/QC, Job Safety Analysis, and overall awareness of hazardous conditions
