What is a live production intern?

Live Production Interns are entry-level professionals who assist with the planning, setup, and execution of live events such as concerts, broadcasts, theater performances, or sports events. Their responsibilities often include helping with technical equipment, supporting production teams, and learning about various aspects of live event production. This role provides hands-on experience and exposure to the fast-paced environment of live productions, making it ideal for students or recent graduates interested in careers in media, entertainment, or event management.

What types of projects and responsibilities can a live production intern expect during their internship?

As a Live Production Intern, you can expect to assist with various aspects of live event production, such as setting up audio-visual equipment, supporting stage management, and helping coordinate rehearsals. Interns often work closely with production managers, technical directors, and crew members to ensure smooth event execution. You may also have opportunities to shadow professionals during live broadcasts or performances, gaining hands-on experience with lighting, sound, and video operations. This dynamic, fast-paced environment encourages interns to develop teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills while building a strong foundation for future careers in live production.

These abilities are essential for ensuring smooth event execution and gaining valuable hands-on experience in live production settings.
