Job Description Summary

This position supports live video/television productions of Miami University Athletics events, working in a variety of roles throughout each broadcast.

Job Description

Essential Duties:

• Operate a broadcast camera to capture live game action and shot sequences during Miami University Athletics events
• Operate the NewTek TriCaster production switcher to support live video/television production
• Operate the 3Play Instant Replay system to capture, cue, and roll instant replays during live broadcasts
• Operate Ross Xpression graphics software to build and trigger on-screen graphics, including scoreboards, lower-thirds, and stat overlays
• Mix and monitor live audio feeds during broadcasts
• Assist production staff as needed in the role of Production Assistant, including setup, breakdown, and general production support
• Rotate through the above positions as assigned based on event needs and staffing

Minimum Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of sports
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous broadcast/production experience is helpful but not required - training will be provided
