Job description

Position Summary
The Seasonal part associate is responsible for:
  • Accurately ring up sales in the register and wrap purchases to prevent breakage and protect plants.
  • Assist customers and provide information about shop merchandise and general Garden programs.
  • Stock displays in a neat and organized fashion and monitor items needed from the warehouse.
  • Perform daily cleaning tasks to maintain the shop's appearance.
Requirements:
  • Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Friendly and pleasant demeanor
  • Detail oriented.
  • Willingness to work hard and be part of a team.
  • Live plant or apparel experience preferred.
  • Flexibility re: duties, hours, and holidays -some evening hours will berequired.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
  • Prolonged and frequent standing
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
Schedule:
Minimum 4 days per week, including Saturday and/or Sunday. Specific days and hours are scheduled based on business needs and may vary week to week.
Pay rate:$18/hr
