About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical, detail-oriented Sales Operations Manager to support our growing Sales organization. This role will partner closely with Sales Leadership to provide meaningful business insights, maintain reporting and dashboards, optimize sales processes, and ensure our teams have the visibility they need to perform at a high level.
Supporting our Account Executive team, Inbound SDR team, Outbound SDR team, and four Sales Leaders, this person will play a critical role in helping leadership understand business performance through accurate reporting, trend analysis, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about helping sales teams become more effective through actionable insights and scalable processes.
We embrace AI as a force multiplier across our business. The ideal candidate is comfortable leveraging tools such as Claude and ChatGPT to improve reporting, accelerate analysis, streamline documentation, and drive greater operational efficiency.
This is a hybrid role based in our office in Chicago, IL. All Chicagoland employees are required to be in the office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
A Typical Day Involves
Reporting & Analytics
  • Own and maintain sales reporting across the organization.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously improve Salesforce dashboards and reports.
  • Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual sales reporting.
  • Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, conversion rates, productivity metrics, sales cycle trends, and forecast performance.
  • Identify business trends, risks, and opportunities, providing recommendations alongside reporting.
  • Prepare executive-ready reports, presentations, and business review materials for Sales Leadership.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, timely, and actionable.

Sales Operations Support
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to improve reporting, visibility, and operational efficiency.
  • Support weekly forecasting, pipeline reviews, and leadership meetings through reporting and data preparation.
  • Monitor CRM data quality and recommend improvements to ensure Salesforce remains a trusted source of truth.
  • Maintain Salesforce reports, dashboards, fields, and workflows in partnership with Revenue Operations.
  • Leverage AI tools, including Claude, to improve reporting, analyze trends, summarize business insights, automate repetitive tasks, and increase overall productivity.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual reporting and improve operational efficiency.
  • Document and refine sales processes where appropriate.
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests and business analysis as needed.

What You Bring
Required
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Business Operations, Sales Analytics, or a related role.
  • Advanced experience building Salesforce reports and dashboards.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
  • Experience supporting SaaS sales organizations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM administration.
  • Experience with Gong, Outreach, ZoomInfo, 6sense, or similar sales technologies.
  • Experience building executive-level dashboards and business reporting.
  • Experience supporting both SDR and Account Executive organizations.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT to enhance data analysis, reporting, documentation, and operational workflows.

Compensation
The pay range for this role is:
$100,000 - 110,000 base
