Live-In Caregiver - 7 Days On / 7 Days Off Rotation
Location: West Concord, MN
Pay: $250/day
Freedom Home Care is looking for compassionate and dependable Live-In Caregivers to provide high-quality care and companionship to our clients in their homes. This unique opportunity offers a 7 days on / 7 days off schedule, allowing you to provide consistent care while residing in the client's home for your scheduled week and enjoying a full week off between assignments.
As a Live-In Caregiver, you will become an important part of your client's daily life by providing support, encouragement, and assistance while helping them remain safe and independent in their own home.
Schedule:
  • One week on / one week off rotation
  • Monday - Monday assignment (10:00 AM - 10:00 AM)
  • Live in the client's home during your scheduled week
  • Must be available for the full scheduled assignment
  • Consistent schedule with predictable time off
  • Caregivers will have designated rest periods and personal time during the assignment while continuing to provide client support as needed
Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
    • Personal care
    • Bathing, dressing, and grooming assistance
    • Toileting and incontinence care as needed
    • Mobility and transfers
  • Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping
  • Provide medication reminders
  • Assist with errands and appointments as needed
  • Complete accurate documentation and communicate client updates with the office team
  • Follow the client's care plan and Freedom Home Care policies
  • Provide compassionate, reliable, and patient care
  • Maintain professionalism and strong communication with clients, families, and the Freedom Home Care team
  • Work independently while providing care in the client's home
  • Comfortable providing personal care and assistance with ADLs
Requirements:
  • Previous caregiving experience is required
  • Must have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
  • Ability to pass a Minnesota background study
  • Must complete required TB testing and training requirements
