Job description

A lovely family in West Hollywood, CA is seeking an exceptional live-in nanny for their baby soon to be born. The ideal start date is August or September. The schedule will typically be five days per week, likely around 50 hours per week with some weeks possibly more. There will be some weeks that weekend hours will be asked for with notice. The exact schedule can be discussed based on candidate preferences. These kind first time parents are looking for a warm and professional nanny who wants to support their baby's growth, watch baby grow, and keep a calm and child focused environment. 


  • Full child care: Providing a warm and loving environment, care and engagement of the child including enrichment in age-appropriate activities that foster physical, social, and emotional growth including designing a schedule of activities (inside and outside the home) that foster creativity and help the child progress in development. 
  • Transportation to activities, play-dates, and outings either walking or driving as the baby gets older 
  • Coordinating schedules for naps, meals, activities, and travel
  • Helping with the child’s laundry and with light child meal preparation when the time comes 
  • Nursery duties including managing the tidiness and organization of the child's space and restocking baby items such as diapers and wipes
  • The nanny's focus is the baby first and foremost 

  • Warm and nurturing personality
  • Team player with excellent communication who is happy to partner and collaborate with parents  
  • Excited to work with the infant to toddler age, know ages and stages, and what developmental milestones are coming next
  • A second language, specifically Spanish, would be nice to have, but not required

  • Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.)
  • Legal to work in the US
  • Comfortable with a friendly dog 
  • Water safe (house has a pool)
  • Willing to follow American Academy of Pediatrics vaccination guidelines 
  • Trustline registered, or willing to register 
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record 

$30-45 per hour plus standard benefits
